SAP BTP Developer

We are looking for a skilled SAP BTP Developer to design and develop cloud-native applications, SAP extensions, integrations, and digital solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform.

You will work with modern SAP technologies to build scalable applications that extend SAP S/4HANA while supporting a clean-core strategy.

This role is ideal for developers who enjoy solving complex business problems through cloud application development, APIs, integration, automation, and emerging technologies such as AI.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications on SAP Business Technology Platform.
• Build cloud-native applications and side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA.
• Develop backend services and APIs using technologies such as Node.js and JavaScript.
• Build user interfaces using SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop and consume REST APIs and integrate SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Work with SAP Integration Suite and other BTP services to implement enterprise integrations.
• Develop applications that follow SAP’s clean-core and extensibility principles.
• Work with SAP S/4HANA APIs and business data to deliver business-focused solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, integration testing, and performance optimisation.
• Use Git and modern development practices for source-code management.
• Participate in CI/CD and DevOps processes for application deployment.
• Troubleshoot application, API, integration, and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, business analysts, and other developers.
• Explore opportunities to use automation, AI, and generative AI to improve business processes and applications.

• Hands-on development experience with SAP BTP.
• Strong programming knowledge in JavaScript and/or Node.js.
• Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
• Experience with SAP Fiori and/or SAPUI5.
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA and SAP business processes.
• Experience integrating SAP and third-party applications.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP services and cloud application development.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
• Experience with Cloud Foundry.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience developing side-by-side extensions for S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to AI, generative AI, or intelligent automation.
• SAP BTP or related SAP certifications.
